The European  Medicines Agency (EMEA) has published a concept paper on :
‘THE NEED FOR A GUIDELINE ON THE  TREATMENT OF PREMENSTRUAL DYSPHORIC DISORDER (PMDD)'  (CHMP/EWP/11877/2009).

The aim of this  concept paper is the elaboration of a guideline on the development of  new products for the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder  (PMDD), which will be helpful to achieve consensus in the evaluation of  such products by regulatory authorities in the European Community.
The EMEA is presently consulting several European Societies including the European Society of Gynecology, (ESG),  the European College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the Deutsches Gesellschaft für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe E.V.
The ESG is planning to answer this request of opinion before the deadline (May 30 2009).

We  would be grateful if the members of the Board and the members of the Scientific Committee could :
1) give their opinion
2)disseminate this e-mail to anyone else  who might be interested in this topic.

Their response to this E mail and request of opinion is to be provided to the General Secretary before MAY 15. at
